This was taken 2 years ago, a week after my mom's first surgery. (I know, you can't even tell 'cause she's gorgeous all the freaking time.)
And today's kindof a big deal to me, because I'm one of the lucky ones.
I'm one of the lucky ones that can run her fingers through her mom's hair and hold her hand.
I'm one of the lucky ones who can buy her mom flowers and get pissed off at her when she thinks she's fat.
I'm one of the lucky ones who can go to her mom for anything and everything.
I'm one of the lucky ones who's come to realize that she has to take care of her mom sometimes, rather than the other way around.
I'm one of the lucky ones who gets to keep her mom.
Yeeeeee, I'm kindof a momma's girl.
