Recent encounters with a friend has taught me that the worst thing you can do is give up. You'd think it'd be so simple and logical to just keep on trying, but it's not when you get overwhelmed. Suddenly, giving up before you even start seems like the easier thing to do, and an anti-listening attitude kicks in. It's really all in your head, but that's the hardest part. There's a time for breakdowns, and there's a time to keep on trucking. There's times when you say, "I'm trying," and times when you actually are. This is one of those times where doing what I feel like won't actually get me anywhere. I just gotta keep pushing, or else this little thing called self-fufilling prophecy will kick my ass tomorrow.
