The difference between science and art is that science is incidental, and will continue to exist regardless of whether or not someone stumbles upon it, but art is a one time shot. Newton's Law would still be true whether or not Newton discovered it, but Romeo and Juliet would not exist if Shakespeare had died before he wrote it.
This is why living is an art. Our earth will not continue to exist if we treat is as a science. We have one world, one life, one time to use what we've been given, and no second chances.
