I've come to realize that time doesn't have a lot to do how well you know a person. You could have years of memorizing how a person chews their food or how they sound when they walk up the stairs, but they could still surprise you. At the same time, you could meet someone and by the end of the day, know them like the lyrics of your favourite song. Time together doesn't define a friendship, and time apart shouldn't.
