Today, I accompanied my aunt while she went to help her cousin decide which make-up and hairstyle she wants for her wedding.* Her other girl cousins came as well, and they spent hours just talking about anything and everything. All their personalities differed from each other, but they fit somehow, and all they wanted for each other was just to be happy. It was like Tiff, Genie and I, 10 years from now... In Chinese. It's by chance that we're family, but our choice that we're friends. I think it wouldn't matter how much we squabble and disagree on things, because I know we're basically stuck with each other for life. They should have included marriage contracts with our birth certificates.
When we were younger, people would always mistake us for being sisters. I hope people will never stop making that mistake.
*Sidenote: The couple is super cute. They started dating when they were 15, and now, 10 years later, they're getting married.
