It never occurred to me how one comment could reveal how much selfishness is in my heart. The comment wasn't accusatory or had any intention of a guilt trip, but it was just simply the truth. I wish I could plead oblivion, but I'm well aware of how easy it is for me to turn a blind eye. I must never forget the feeling of what it's like to be an outsider, because I think I've been on the inside for way too long.

I had a very nice lunch with people that I would never usually hang out with. We just sat and talked after we finished eating, and it was going great until I scared them with my geekiness.

C: Wait, aren't attack rings made of metal?

R: No. Generally, attack rings are made of plastic. Defense rings are made of metal. But I guess you can find metal attack rings in places like Crystal Mall.

C: ... Are you sure this was a long time ago?

R: ... Yes.
