It's always so strange coming back from a trip where you're constantly being surrounded by people, because you realize how quiet things are (especially because Emily VanDop was in my tent).
Grad trip was one of those things that are good for the heart. The loudest thing around was the sound of the Thompsan River, spending hours on the beach was magnificent and the campfires were pure bliss. I do regret not being able to go rafting (due to a serious case of parental control), but despite that, I still got to bond with a lot of people I've never really talked to before and also people I always talk to. It was just the perfect way to set the tone for the year, and I miss it already. There was freaking delicious food, too many laughs to count and moments where we couldn't help but be in awe of our Creator. It was just an overall an amazing experience, and falling asleep like this every night was excellent:

And waking up to this every morning wasn't too shabby either:

Anyways, it's so weird to think that in about 9 months, I'm going to be standing up on stage with some of the greatest kids I've ever met - kids who have given me the best days of my life.
Grad 2011, I know you'll be good to me.
