490

28,000 children die from poverty related causes every day.
300,000 children are exploited by armies to act as soldiers, sex slaves and servants.
218 million children work as child laborers.
126 million children work in hazardous locations: in mine fields, with pesticides, explosives or with dangerous machinery.
121 million children of primary age are denied the opportunity to attend school. More than half are girls.

Take the Vow of Silence for the children who don't have a voice.
I may possibly have to don the duct tape tomorrow, because it's gonna be a challenge.

and if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
and if our God is with us, then what can stand against us?

I checked out the website and it says it's the 19th. Tomorrow's the 18th. Unless it's talking about Australia's 19th and it is in fact tomorrow. But the timer still says 1 day so I'm assuming it's on Friday.

It is actually supposed to be Friday, but we decided that we were gonna start and end it together. So we had a meeting this morning to start the silence, and tomorrow morning, we're having a worship session to end the silence.
