Things I Like:
#5.
Today was Flip-Flop Friday/Bring Socks For the Homeless, so I donned my flip-flops* and braved the cold, rain and snow on the ground. Despite the nakedness of flip-flops, I love wearing them. I'm not quite Emily Yip** yet, but I like the feeling of bare feet and free toes (I apologize to people who have podophobia). They're also the mascot for summer days, and I can't wait till it's time to hit the beach again.
Anyways, I was little worried that people weren't going to bring any donations, but I walked into the office at the end of the day and saw two baskets full of socks! God is good, and people are spectacular.
*They're from Roxy and are made out of a silky material with hard bottoms, so I don't feel rocks under my feet when I walk on gravel, and they're pretty comfy compared to most other flip-flops. I also got them in Hong Kong with Esther Lee, so I think of her every time I wear them.
**She keeps a pair in her locker no matter the season. I swear.
