I'm not sure if this is over-rated yet, but my friends bought these shoes for me for my birthday and I love them (both friends and shoes) to bits. They are the "everyone has them" sort of shoes, but they're super comfy and match everything so I'm okay with that. Another great thing about Toms is that it's a brand that gives away a pair of shoes for every pair that you buy, but I don't mean to place too much emphasis on that. Companies often use such things as commodities. I also don't mean to take away from the fact that they are doing something great and impacting many people, but at the same time, we should never get that mixed up with true sacrifice.
