Did you know that the most powerful man on earth chooses to be the Lord of broken things? He marks his territory in abandoned ghost towns. He plants his flag in barren fields, and He builds his armies out of hospital patient soldiers. He is the lover of frail creatures. He gathers the boys with checklist hearts and girls with paper cut smiles, and He says to them, "I want it all." He builds houses out of wildflowers that have been torn from their homes. The world says to Him, "You know nothing of power," and He replies, "You know nothing of making life out of dust."
