I think God puts people in our lives that we don't necessarily want, but people that we need. He gives us people that show us what unconditional love means. He gives us peoplethat teach us real beauty and others that make us realize that the world can be an ugly place. He gives us people to break us so we can learn and grow. He gives us people that we depend on who walk on out when we need them most. He gives us people who help us and people that we're going to feel tempted to judge. (You know, the ones that make us forget that God made them too...) After all, the stars in the sky, the ocean, the sunsets and all the other things that take our breath away are not made in His image.

The closest we'll ever get to God on this earth is the people around us. Yes, even the ones that make us go, "... Uh."
