Not something amazing, but something nice. Something I can worry a little bit about, but not all the time. A break from my day, but not something that completely takes me away. Something looming ahead in the distance, but not in the present. The in-between phase; not casual, not committed. Something that lies in subtly.
And the thing about it is that it's not always candy-coated. There's the bare truth that it may not always work out.
But for now, you're exactly what I need.
