So we sat up on the phone while you read me back my letters, and I can tell you without listening that those words still ring true.
And that's so rare, because sometimes words lose meaning as time passes, like when you repeat them over and over again until they're numb on your tongue. They say that pictures don't change but the people in them do, and as I dig through my boxes, I find it's even more so in writing.
