Cumpari's (on North Road) is becoming one of my favourite dessert places. It's close by, still has that local business feel even though it's pretty big and gets busy, girl's-night-out perfect and super chill so you can sit and talk forever.. And you get a work-out because their chairs are really heavy. Every time I go, I say to myself, "I'm going to try one of their cakes (or better yet, the creme brulee!) or their fancy espressos," but I never do and go straight to the gelato. Next time, for sure.

Today when I went with Abe, I got the Sundae Morning (Strawberry and Peanuts) Gelato. It's pretty light considering there's nuts in it. It was alright, but I've definitely had better there*.

*I'm probably only saying this because I don't like nutty flavors.. Which makes me question why I thought it would be a good idea to order something with peanuts in it.
